Meal Support

A therapist can support your relationship with food and assist with your recovery meal plan. Sessions can focus on completing meals, food exposures or challenging negative food believes that do not serve you.

Our philosophy is all foods fit and all foods are ok in moderation.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may have some questions so here's a place to get started.

  • How do I see a therapist at St. Louis Eating Recovery Therapy?
Submit a contact form with your information and a short message and someone will get back to regarding next steps.
  • How much do sessions cost?
Session fees are $120 per session. Nicole Jacobs is the only provider in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Therefore most insurances are not accepted.
  • How many sessions will I need to see change?
Each individual's therapy needs will vary, therefore it will take a few sessions with your established therapist to determine your treatment goals and how often therapy will be recommended. Everyone's progress happens on it's own time so we are not able to determine how quickly someone can work through recovery.
  • What can I expect after I initally submit a contact form? What can I expect from my first session?
Once you complete your contact form, someone will reach out to you to schedule an initial phone consultation. Often times we are running a wait list therefore a phone consultation will not occur until a therapist has space available. After the phone consultation, if it is deemed we are a good fit in working together, you will be placed with a therapist. You will complete new client paperwork prior to your first session. In your first session, you will provide your history to your therapist and begin to develop coping skills aimed to support your areas of concern.
  • What if I have additional questions?
You can reach out via the contact form and ask your questions there. We will get back with you as soon as we can.
